If you have been following my work over the last year, it's hard to miss all the tagging and referencing to Emily Ventura Designs. Emily and I met late in 2016 and forged a fast friendship. It was Andrea's wedding that introduced us, but we quickly became more than just Indy area vendor friends. We worked on an intense styled shoot together this past Spring, and discovered all sorts of things about working together: we both love coffee, organization, West Elm and weddings. But our biggest similarity is that we both dearly love our clients. She has introduced me to some of the sweetest couples and I can't wait for each one of our weddings together in 2018.
Now, our friendship is where this story starts but it's just the beginning. Not only am I sharing Austin and Emily's wedding photos today...but I'm sharing with you a love story that I got a front row seat for. I remember when they started dating (less than a year ago) and I remember when Emily told me she was going to marry Austin. I got to hear all about the ring selection and the planning of their intimate wedding at The Conrad. This wedding day was special for me and I am honored to have captured it. It is a high compliment to be asked to photograph a wedding planner's wedding. It was a privilege to be there with my friend.
